This was my first visit to this Amazinggg salon . The owners Jo and Mark could not of made me feel more welcome ! From booking the appointment to the fantastic hair cut Jo did for me . I would recommend this salon to all and if I could give them more than 5 stars I would . THANK YOU JO AND MARK

OMG I cant believe what just happened. My son who has ASD is terrified of barbers and hasnt had his hair cut in about a year. He finally plucked up the courage to go to the barbers but unfortunately the lady he usually goes to is on holiday and I wanted to strike while the iron was hot and before he changed his mind. On our way home we passed Source Hair on Cannon Lane and I popped in and asked if they cut all hair (ie Men and Women). He said they did so I explained about my son and that he was scared and only wanted a trim. As soon as I said my son had Autism his face changed and you would see he looked really uncomfortable. First he said that they had a boy with Autism whos hair they used to cut and they had to let him go as he was too difficult. He then said actually we only cut childrens hair if their parents get their hair cut here, its all word of mouth When I pointed out that this wasnt what he said when I first walked in he said yes I know Im doing what I can to put you off coming here if Im being totally honest. I was so shocked I didnt really know what to say so I just said dont worry if that is how you feel about people with a disability then I dont want you cutting my sons hair anyway. When I got back in the car I had to lie to my son and tell him they didnt cut childrens hair. Im so upset. Its taken the best part of a year to get my son to finally pluck up the courage to go to get his hair cut and not only do I have to endure his disgusting discrimination but my son STILL needs a hair cut
