MGC is a fabulous golf course, a hidden gem of elite courses with just a finite time left for anyone to be able to play there. Apart from the 4th and 11th, every hole suggests you have a chance to par or birdie, yet actually it's well guarded greens and subtle contours make you pleased you made bogey in the end. Clubhouse caters well too, reasonable prices and great tasting food.

A lovely golf club which is disappearing in December 2025 as the Council are turning it into a concrete jungle purely for money and no other reason. Do play or visit if you have a chance.
