TFP Thames Valley Fertility

We first had treatment back in 2019, we were extremely lucky for this to work first time and weve a beautiful little girl. Weve been back in treatment on and off since 2021, unfortunately weve yet to be successful having been through 1 full round of IVF and part way through a second. The team have been fantastic throughout our fertility journey, weve been fully supported and informed throughout, our plans have been tweaked each time and whilst weve yet to have our second baby I have been pregnant since starting IVF - the clinic does its upmost to give couples the chance to have children theres no guarantee itll work for various reasons. Fertility treatment gives you the opportunity you might not have had otherwise, we cannot thank the team enough. Kellie and Nicky are amazing nurses always supportive and very caring. Dr Vlismas has been brilliant throughout always very thorough when going through treatment options, whilst being transparent with pros and cons for all options/preferred treatments. The whole team are great and we cant thank them enough - without TVF we wouldnt have our daughter.

I cannot recommended TVF enough. After 6 years of trying naturally and being told we were entitled to no help on the NHS due to having a daughter from a previous relationship 11 years ago! We decided to go privately. The staff at TVF are so welcoming and caring. The consultants really cared and treated us as people and not just a number. We were treated with constant care and compassion. We first enquired in 2020 but I was due to have surgery on the NHS for an issue with my uterus, I made an appt with a consultant who actually called me and advised I waiting until after the surgery so that was out the way and I would then be able to have a full co sultan ion and save money. We tried IUI in March 2021 which sadly didnt work for us and we decided to jump straight to IVF rather than trying IUI again. We started our round in May 2021, I was kept under constant supervision due to being high risk of OHSS. We found the pricing to be competitive but the fact TVF was local and the staff were so incredible really was the deciding factor for us. After our first transfer failed TVF looked into everything possible to give us the best chance on the next round, which worked! Sadly it ended in a miscarriage but the clinic could not have been more caring. Our third transfer also ended in a loss and needed medical intervention but TVF were there every step of the way for support and just a friendly voice on the end of the phone. Our 4th transfer was in August 2022 and we are now nearly half way through our pregnancy. I have never been so anxious and nervous but the support from the TVF nurses and consultants has been second to none. Any worries I had they saw me straight away and always managed to squeeze me in for a reassurance scan when needed. The free counselling that was included in our cycles has helped me massively and I cannot thank TVF enough for all their help over the last few years. Its never an easy process but with TVF it was made easier! I know multiple people now who have had babies through TVF and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking. Update: April 2023. We welcomed our little girl safely into the works albeit 4 weeks early shes here safe and sound! I cannot thank TVF enough for making all our dreams come true x

We honestly cant thank everybody at Thames Valley Fertility enough. All the staff are friendly, helpful and so caring. We were fully informed throughout our whole journey and felt they are there for you every step of the way. Thank you!

Alexis and Danielle were fantastic on our information evening. Made it light hearted but serious and informative at the same time. Alexis has been fantastic since in keeping us up to date with what our next steps are and when they will call. Truly fabulous team and couldnt have picked better! The facilities are intimate and give the feeling of caring personally about patients rather than being a number in a factory line. It was also great to actually see the different parts of the clinic and where we will be doing certain things. It really helps with relieving some anxiety in an already stressful experience

Weve been at Thames valley fertility for a while now following a rocky fertility path for my wife and I. Over the years at the clinic, the level of support we have been given has been outstanding! We have built some wonderful relationships with everyone and they have been like a family through this time. Dr Antonios Vlismas has supported each and every path we have been on and he truly is a superb doctor! Special shout out to all the fantastic ladies including Alexis, Kellie, Tash, Sam, Annie, Emily, Lillie, Leah - nothing is ever to much and your always happy to answer our many questions! You are all amazing!
