My experience with first buy motors was great, I purchased a fiat 500 from these guys. Saj was super helpful from the initial enquiry to buying the car. He helped me get the car insured & road taxed before I drove the car away! No aspect of the service which I can complain about thx Clare

First Buy Motors should be avoided at all costs. He sold me a car with an illegal tyre which was in one place completely down to the cord. The battery was completely dead by day 19 and could not hold a charge. Engine warning light came on after 13 days. Reported to Warranty company only they had no record of a warranty for my car as Shajeel had not bothered to register the warranty, therefore they dont want to know. I had a new bank 1 sensor fitted which I had to pay for only to find out it is actually the Catalytic converter which needs replacing. I have emailed Shajeel, phoned and text, he sends occasional text to just promise he will respond that day but then I receive nothing more. Along with 12volt socket failing within couple of days, valve on another tyre failing, air filter not fitted correctly. This car apparently had a service done the day I bought it! Shame on the garage. Then after I paid for car, in general chat he said his family had put money into that garage Maybe why my car passed a service with so many faults? Strange one of the 5star reviews is actually from him. I hope I can help some people not to have to go through what I and it seems others have had to deal with and be so out of pocket. He is only helpful until you buy the car , after that he does not care one bit. Also warranty he offers (which he doesnt register anyway) comes with clause that you pay the first 50.00 which he wont tell you. Avoid this trader at all costs. That tyre could have blown at any moment killing me and my family.

Hi, The problem is, every good 5 star review on the Internet (Auto Trader, Google, etc) about First Buy Motors is written by the same person of foreign descent. The POOR use of the English language is evident in every review. There is one bad review, which is the only honest review I could find. The same spelling mistakes are evident in several of the reviews, the same wording is used in many of the reviews. If you were a genuine customer, and English was your first language, you wouldn't be writing the kind of comments used in their reviews. I am writing this because the customer service is non existing. I have tried several times to get details for a car. I have told Saj, I want to buy the car. I haven't been successful. I also asked for details about the car, several times. I have been told that he will get the details and call me back. He didn't bother. I did think it was strange, even though I was telling him I would give him the asking price and I wanted to pay for the car. I also asked him about the mileage discrepancy on the First Buy Motors website and the gov.uk mot history checker. I also wanted to know if the advisories on the last mot where taken care of. He had no clue about the car. He didn't know about the service history, he didn't know about what works had been carried out on the car. I called him several times about the car and had a number of questions to ask. Every time he couldn't answer and kept making excuses that he was busy with another customer and could he call me back. He never called me back. I became suspicious when the finance company who agreed to lend me the money for the car, called Saj to arrange payment. He made excuses, said he was busy and could they call back. How busy can you possibly be with only ten other cars on sale? A finance company offering to give him thousands of pounds for a car? Also, a customer asking to buy the car? I have had a lucky escape. I am so pleased I wasn't able to buy the car when I tried. The real reviews are on Google. They are the bad ones. Not the good ones, they are fake. As I explained. There is no customer service. No correspondence whatsoever. No information provided about the car, when I asked several times. No return phone calls. For a car sales company where customer service is paramount for earning a profit, it is plainly obvious that the company is bad and I will be sending this email to everyone I can. Kind regards, Eddie Towers
