Recently joined and all the staff and reception have been nothing but nice and helpful and managed to get me in and seen to as soon as possible. Believe that people only ever write bad reviews instead of the good which gives the place bad press, please take into consideration that they might be short staffed at times and that they can only do what is humanly possible in a day! Fab doctors from my personal experience.

I am amazed at bad reviews. Have been with this practise 20 years and always had fast good service. Under their heavy workload I feel all the staff do a professional job.

After numerous false dawns I managed to see a PA back in May, not a doctor but an excellent substitute. He diagnosed a list of health problems that I am suffering with and set about getting me treatment. This guys enthusiasm was brilliant and his efforts very much appreciated other than a referral made to Ormskirk Hospitals cardiology unit. I was not consulted about the Hospitals I wanted to be referred to they were decided by some unknown source. I observed that my heart problems had been dealt with most successfully by Liverpool Heart and Chest at Broadgreen but once made it couldn't be changed. It is now 6 months down the line, Ormskirk refuse to tell me if they have received the referral and the heart problem is substantially worse with the passage of time but I'm no nearer getting seen to. Last week I addressed this problem with the surgery but so far to no avail. High Pastures used to be a fabulous surgery but sadly as old doctors have been replaced the standard of care has declined with the covid affect dramatically highlighting these problems. Thank God Dr Clarkson is still there or matters could be even worse. A new office manager has been appointed, hopefully this will signal a return to their hey day if only that was possible. I've increased my rating to 4 as the new office manager has somehow managed to get me an appointment at Liverpool Heart and Chest having been told by her predecessor it could not be done Ms Jago has made it happen. She has earned my eternal gratitude.
