I can't rate Ash's service highly enough. We sold my dad's lego collection after he passed away. Ash treated everything with as much enjoyment as my dad had for it. He spent time making sure all of the sets were displayed well and his photos really did the collection justice. Ash carried out research on each of the older sets and his descriptions highlighted all of best parts of each item. Ash also sold dad's stamp collection.while other auctioneers had suggested selling them as a job lot, Ash took the time to go through the stamps, put them into collections and photograph them, so that people knew what they were buying. That shows that he truly loves his job and that he cares about the items he sells. We were kept up to date with everything, and nothing was too much trouble. A really lovely person who has as much enthusiasm for the items as the collectors. Thanks Ash!

I didnt attend the auction but bid online for one lot which consisted of 11 pieces of studio pottery all marked by individual pottery marks. I was impressed by the 44 catalogue photographs showing all of the marks and noted that the catalogue report identified they were in good condition. After the auction which was on New Years Eve I arranged to pick my lot up. I was surprised when the auctioneer offered to meet me at his offices on January 2nd 2023 which was a Bank Holiday! He met me as arranged and I picked up my lot. Firstly the catalogue and photographs were first rate. Ash the owner, made me a couple of cups of tea whilst I wrapped my ceramics with bubblewrap. He had offered to ship all eleven pieces at cost (quote 30) very reasonable! If you are looking to pay top prices in an ostentatious environment then I dont think this is for you but if you are seeking an honest inexpensive auction with good prices for shipping then Aintree Antique Auctions fits the bill. Ash struck me as being open, honest and friendly!
