I purchased a trug from the above company (Sussex Trugs) for our wedding anniversary in mid-July. My wife was over the moon when she opened the present and was delighted at the quality and skilled carftsmanship that went into its manufacture. I thoroughly enjoyed a search around the company's website and enjoyed reading the literature that accompanied the trug. One has to be grateful that there are people interested in preserving crafts such as this. Many thanks.

Great place full of craftsmanship. Lewis was extremely helpful, and gave us a demo of using the draw knife on the horse and cleaving with the dolly on a device. Great morning and long may your business keep going. It means a lot to us all that crafts such as these, however archaic, are kept alive for future generations. A great example of conservation and business working together for good. Activities such as this are our 'seed banks' for future.
