Peaceful Cottage

We had a fantastic week at peaceful cottage. Lovely location. Short drive into hereford to find shops and resturants and takeawaya. Set in the lovely quiet villiage of madley where there is a londis that sells most things you could need. Cottage is lovely with a lovely garden. Flowers and eggs on arrival which is a nice touch. Kitchen lovely, fridge is like a tardis, fit more in that you expect. Could possibly benefit from a small freezer to keep ice creams in but it didnt bother us to be honest. Tesco do a home delivery, so worth having your shopping delivered however, it is only 7 miles away. Garden is beautiful with table and chairs and is a real sun trap, with the sun being on it most of the day. Our 9 year old enjoyed playing in the garden and especially on the climbing frame. Our in laws joined us for the second part of the week with their small dog. Plenty of space for us all and a large dining table. Our daughter thought she had hit the jackpot when she opened the cupboards to find games galore! We had great fun trying the many games on offer. There are lots of flies but you are in the middle of the country side!!! It didnt bother us really but may benefit from a fly screen on the back door. Kitchen is well equipt and we managed to cook home cooked meals most Nights. The neighbours next door are lovely and often spoke to us and said hello when on the garden. Gave us lots of helpful tips on days out etc. The cottage is set in a peaceful location, some road noise occasionally but we are from the city so it was still peaceful to us! We would defintley consider peaceful cottage again in the feature!
