Very pretty main house but service not up to scratch at all, and Gracies shed wasnt great. We got redirected four times and waited thirty minutes to find out if we could order from the a la carte menu on the outside restaurant area . We couldnt, so we ordered to our room which then was left on our table outside for us to set the table etc ourselves. Nyetimber ros is 50 a class pre service which makes no sense to me, even in world class hotels a glass of billecart rose or LPR is never more than 40. Staff are friendly but not polished and not efficient and for the prices in the area it does need to be better. Slippers arent included in the room you have to ring and ask despite their being a spa function and theres notes on every bottle of water saying if I disappear well add 10 to your bill which I have never seen anything like that before. The massage we had booked for 9am got cancelled at 8.57am as the hot stone machine wasnt working - cant be helped but messed our plans up at the very last minute. Gracies shed noisy and no inside eating area/ table. Bed ok but would say not good enough for 450 a night. Shower great pressie e it doesnt get hot.

Had absolutely the best trip to the pig for a very special occasion. I cannot fault any aspect from start to finish. We stayed in one of the fields wagons, kitted out with an out door shower, (my personal favourite addition to the wagon!), log burner and free standing bath. It was the perfect rustic, getaway and extremely romantic. The grounds itself are also stunning, set between the rolling hills of the South Downs, lots of lovely walking in and around the area. The food was fantastic and the 25 mile menu concept is such a great idea and really added to the experience. What really made this night away stand out from all the rest though, is the staff. Attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming and so happy to help with anything. Each and every member of the team made the effort to talk to us and make us feel extremely welcome, not to mention going the extra mile to help with getting things set up to celebrate our special occasion. All are complete assets to the team and really made our stay feel extra special. Would highly recommend!
