    Saw a lovely VWCabrio on the web site , went to view it , drove it , loved it, impressed with the no pressure approach , needed a quick turn round , saw it on Thursday , bought it and was driving home to West Coast of Scotland on Saturday.Went for an mot on the Friday , needed a couple of tyres and a bulb all taken care of at no cost to me , this has been the least hassle of any car I have ever bought ! Not going to tempt the used car Gods but delighted with it , cant recommend Lyme Green Highly enough ( not related or being paid for this either) Try them and see for yourself Jj

    Recently travelled over 90mins to view a car here. On arrival I was greeted and handed the keys to the vehicle and was left alone to have a good look round. Was given the time to take it on a test drive and at no point felt pressured. They worked with me on price and a few days later I put it through an MOT which it passed. The previous owner had provided some missing things and a recall letter and the garage posted these on to me and wouldnt accept any postage. Very happy with the service.

    I previously have a five star for my review because Richard at Lyme Green motors is a really nice person and is very responsive. I have sadly had nothing but trouble since I first bought the car. I bought it on the 8th August and didnt receive it until the beginning of September due to issues with ECU in the MOT post sale. The car then had issues with non starting, flat battery and warning lights going on and off. I had to spend on a new battery and for a genuine camshaft position sensor as there had been a cheap one fitted. Ive lost hundreds in missed work appointments from not having transport. I also discovered that the light on my boot had been fixed with sticky tape. The dealers response was sorry not what you want when you spend 13k on a car! The car is off the road with serious electrical issues and I am a sad, upset and out of pocket customer. Make sure you triple check everything when buying Edit reply to dealer below: Thank you for replying Richard. Since there seems to be some disagreement on some points I have adjusted my dates above and have the documents to prove it. You miss out the reason I couldnt come over to you is that you are two hours away from where I live and would not help with transport. I wasnt able to drive a faulty car that distance and the reason I went quiet is that I decided to get it done locally as it was becoming never ending. You did not pay for the new battery I did and sent you the details but didnt receive anything. You are a nice person but I feel my review is very accurate and I hope in the future will impact some of the decisions that are made. I wish you all the best

    Highly recommended as a First-time buyer Writing these comments after using the Car and service of Lyme green car sale for 5 months. Being from a different country and as a first-time buyer, I don't have much knowledge of CAR servicing, MOT, insurance, etc and I was looking for reliable people who can provide warranty and support in case of any issue with the Car. I have checked i10 on their Lyme green car sale website and visited their place. They offered me the test drive without any questions. Finally bought it from them (Richard) in May 2022 at a very market-competitive rate. Richard is a very nice and helpful guy and really eases the process of buying. The best thing is the Car comes with 3 month AA warranty which I have not found anywhere else around with other dealers. After driving perfectly for almost 3 months, I came across the Air Con problem. I informed Richard and they itself booked my appointment with the Garage. Garage mentioned that the problem is with the compressor and requires replacement. New Compressor and replacement cost more than 500 and the garage advised me to get approval from the AA to order the replacement. Since the Car is under warranty and I don't want to jeopardize the claim, I took help again from Richard. They again booked the compressor replacement appointment, pay the necessary amount to Garage (>500), and raised the claim. All I need to do is to drop off the car and pick up the car. I am sure they will give me a courtesy car if I would have requested it. Where else you can get this kind of service? I must admit these guys are real gems. The only minor improvement required is to avoid the dependency on Richard as I need to wait for 3-4 weeks for his vacation return to initiate the AirCon replacement. But it was worth to wait :) Again, I have written this honest review after 5 months of usage and would definitely recommend their service.
