I inherited a Mantle clock that belonged to my great grandparents, it was in need of some love and attention to bring it back to life and working again. Mr Benson was just the man he did a fantastic job in getting the clock working again with the familiar chime that I remember hearing as a child! Such a marvellous and meticulous repair and restore, would 100% recommend and absolutely worth the wait!

My cherished mantel clock from the 1930's (Family Heirloom - not valuable but priceless all the same) fell some 6 feet from a Georgian mantlepiece onto a marble hearth, smashing the glass and seriously damaging the internal workings. over the years, no clockmaker would even look at the clock as a serviceable or repairable item, but Steve repaired, replaced and even fabricated the necessary parts to have the clock and its chime working as well as ever, and for what has to be a very reasonable price. I delayed contacting Steve for a long time, expecting the same answer as I'd had before, so don't do the same, his is a dying art and he's a busy man - get your clock sorted :)

I took in a Smith's mantel clock from the 1940's. The clock hadn't run for some time but Stephen fully serviced and got it running perfectly. The clock now keeps time within a minute a week. Really impressed

Very impressed by professionalism and dedication shown in evaluating, servicing etc. Excellent workmanship in making appropriate repairs to german wall clock. Full details of work carried out provided with pics on DVD. We now have a fully operational, time piece which chimes once more and which has reminded me of very fond memories from my childhood. Thank you Mr Benson for an excellent job - very much appreciated - Highly Recommend. In fact planning on taking another clock very soon.
