I started training with Sam shortly after ACL reconstruction and he has completely transformed my strength both on and off the bike. I owe my recovery to him and would recommend him to anyone looking to improve their performance in any sphere. I cant wait for next season when I will no doubt see even more of the tangible gains and benefits of his amazing coaching programme. Ive literally seen noticeable improvements every week over the last few months. Sam is amazing!!

    As someone who doesnt naturally take to strength training Ive been amazed and delighted at the advances I have made in a short period of time. As a cyclist I feel stronger on the bike, pushing bigger gears and my endurance has improved too. Sam is very knowledgeable in his field and has built a routine which suits my phsiology and goals for my sport.     Sam is the man. Sorry this is a lengthy one Dealt with severe sciatica and hip/back pain for over 12years following a trampolining accident. After 4 prolapses on the same disc I had emergency surgery to finally get it sorted; the final slip left me with numbness in my leg and no use of my Achilles on one side. Ive been pretty fit and active my whole life and managed to keep a basic level of strength and flexibility to keep me going, but never really used weights. After a bit of research and a recommendation from a climbing friend I found Sam. Started seeing him twice a week. For the first few weeks I found the most basic of movements difficult to keep any form. I had massively different strength/flexibility either side and muscles that wouldnt fire up. We started from no weight at all, to now nearly lifting my body weight! Been seeing Sam 6months and the progress has been better than ever. I can lift 12kg in a Turkish Get Up Sam is patient but persistent and makes me feel really motivated to push myself. The sessions are completely bespoke and he genuinely listens to how the body feels, some days I would go in feeling so low on energy and walk out buzzing. I was nervous to start weight training with a long standing back injury, but in fact I feel stronger than I ever have, with more knowledge in where my weaknesses and strengths are and how in daily life I can combat these (homework)! No back pain OR sciatica since starting weight training.. I couldnt recommend more
