I bought a A08L Electric Folding Wheelchair about 6 weeks ago. Only to find out that the rubber used in the rear inflatable tyres is very poor quality. I only use it on pavement and pathways, yet one tyre as been punctured seven times already. I now have to pay nearly 200 to get the rear tyres changed for Solid rubber wheels. Has for the batteries. Instead of the nine miles distance on a single battery, I can only get 5 miles. Meaning Instead of 29 miles on three batteries, I can only get 15 miles. Weight capacity is 160kg, I weigh 130kg. So we'll within the limit. I have been told that my Weight reduces the distance, good job I don't weigh 160kg then. Overall I am very disappointed. And one battery costs 349 now. Yours truthfully MVW. Twelve months have now past and the above is still true, however since I bought the solid tyres I have had peace of mind. The wheelchair has been to America, Norway and Southampton with no problems. Getting on buses, trains and trams isn't a problem either. You do however need a large car, or lose the rear seats to get it in a car and because it weights 23kg a hoist is advised.
