Hamer Way Architects - RIBA Chartered Practice

Its been a pleasure to work with Rhys & Sophie so far. We spent quite some time working through the design of our single storey extension & they were very patient whilst we worked through ideas to get the best solution for the build. Weve not worked with architects before but have been very impressed by their friendly & knowledgeable approach. Were just about to start the build so are excited to see the project through to completion. We would highly recommend them.

After trying other designers we found Sophie and Rhys. We could really see the difference between a designer and what they offered as full architects. They really helped us understand the context of our plans for a full house redevelopment and the impact decisions would have on visuality, space, usability and efficiency. They are very considered with their approach and willing to listen and debate ideas. We have found the service both professional and efficient and enjoy the aspect of working with them both which gives us the benefit of two architectural heads in the meeting. A great team to work with and we would highly recommend them.

It has been a pleasure to deal with Rhys, Sophie and Alex on our project which we anticipated was going to be challenging for all involved, due to our property being listed and being in a conservation area. Hamer Way were responsive and took our ideas on board, and also managed to come up with some great design solutions following some last minute changes to our design requirements. Overall I am very satisfied with their service and enthusiasm , and most significantly we managed to get planning permission and our dream kitchen design!

Rhys, Sophie and the team have been brilliant. We initially had a a set of plans for our single story extension that were uninspiring and plain, the previous designer wasn't able to grasp our needs. We turned to Rhys and Hamer Way and have been impressed from the get go. They presented a great concept design that exceeded our expectations of what we thought possible within our space and budget constraints. Support and communication has been exceptional throughout the design and planning process. We couldn't be happier with the design and plans and would highly recommend Rhys and the Hamer Way Team.

We started with a tight budget and a firm idea of what we wanted, and initially considered appointing an architectural technologist to try and save on professional fees. However, I am glad that we didnt, because Hamer Way have been excellent throughout. In addition to planning and construction drawings (including some non-standard detailing such as concealed gutter), Hamer Way gave us ideas for our scheme that we hadnt considered, as well as assisted in practical matters such as engagement with third-party consultants, building control and suggested specialist suppliers of things such as glazing and timber cladding. Communication has been excellent throughout. Overall we are really pleased with the service that weve received from Hamer Way and would certainly recommend.
