One of the best charity shops around Lincolnshire. I volunteer and some of the staff are like my family. I get on so well with them and I've gained so much confidence. Its amazing how well and happy I feel volunteering. I've learned so much skills and experience for 4 years or more. They always make you feel welcome and appreciated. My favourite job is working on the till. I did 2 days a week. Anyone looking for volunteering. Please do. You won't regret. You'll learn loads about retail and customer service. It will look amazing on your cv cos your committed. Thanks for reading.

I used to love both of these charity shops an because of my personal reasons coming into the charity shop sometimes daily because there isn't much to do for me was like the highlight of my time, that made me feel better sometimes, until recently in one of the shops, left me mortified and made me very upset. I'm a young mother sort of for my age ;) and I go in here often and I choose outfits because I'm Into vintage clothing and obviously coming into these shops they are extremely cheap for most people. I liked the people and to come and feel better about the day and feel better in yourself is a bonus and a reason I come here for the penny's you spend in there is even better the staff are nice and friendly and make you feel welcome in one of the shops at the bottom end of Mablethorpe because I honestly I do spend probably more than most people do but that's because I have my issues and it's fine for me, worth it for what I get from coming here and the basic little kind chit chat is what I really come for also as sometimes I'm isolated and lonely. Anyway these are my reasons and now iv been left traumatised somewhat. Beware if you are like me because I know some people use these shops for the same kind of loneliness issues like mine :( Basically I was more or less accused of shop lifting, I was made to feel, which I was astonished, dreadful the whole time i was in the shop and still haven't recovered from how I was made to feel it's awfull. I went into the shop first and said hi like usual and picked up some stuff, to me it felt like I was getting a wierd reception? but didn't no if was just me because usually they are nice, then as I chose things that I would put together which most of theses things I never wear but..I like making outfits Soeing ect.. A woman which I have spoken to before came right over to me and said can I take your hangers and put them behind the counter??I had four items mounting to around a few pound like 5 pound. I thought aw? she's being nice yes thankyou because I had another bag from another shop I just got some items from but gave me no choice and took out of my hands? Anyway as I chose four tops to try I went to the room to try on because some size 14 will fit my 8 because of the way my style is and how they fall! The woman who was in the back before said you can only have two items at a time, I new something strange was going on I could feel it plus I'm not stupid iv herd shop staff talk and iv spoken to about people take things from the shop and iv seen left coat hangers in the room before when iv been in, iv said before in the other shop there is a hanger here left on the floor as I didn't want to go in with it being there before I walk in. But when you mention that there's a left hanger it makes you feel awfull and as I suffer some anxiety. Sometimes iv gone into a changing room and then noticed even 2 hangers on the floor and thought I'm not saying anything about it because it honestly does make you feel like OMG what if they think it's me. And this is why and actually this is not acceptable because at the end of the day for me to feel like this and be made out like I could be a culprit is not right. When I got home and I'm not the sort of person I just felt like breaking down crying I couldn't finish of the rest of my shopping day I just had to go home as I really felt that bad. Now I want to say if at anytime from now on I go in this shop the one at the top end I will now not let this woman take my hangers out of my hands because I like to match my things together and it's a shop and if I find a hanger in there room I will be pointing it out! and I will be seriously..annoyed if I have to do this often I will ask for someone to stand at my changing room now and I Will Not hang around waiting because after youv been humiliated you become extremely annoyed especially if you are loyal and honest it's the worst feeling iv ever felt. I had to make this clear on a review and I understand precautions I have ran my own shop but awfull for anyone who's ever been in that position to feel that way.
