Chapel Cottage

What a fantastic short break at what is undoubtedly the most well equipped cottage we have ever stayed in. Couple that with the quality of the decor, fixtures and fittings and the unbelievable array of accessories provided by hosts Barrie & Karen such as little things you wouldnt ordinarily think of like a shoe polishing kit and a sewing kit as well as loads of board games, a Play Station & Games, bikes, wet suits and even a canoe, and its a recipe for an amazing time in a top quality cottage. Will definitely be going back. Quite simply, outstanding.

Superb cottage to spend a holiday or a couple of days ! We stayed here with 'the teens' in June to spend time at the beach which was a short pleasant stroll away. The cottage is immaculate (we are v.fussy) with quality furnishings and linens. Obviously a lot of thought has gone into making their guests feel they deserve a wonderful break. I have never come across anywhere so well equipped, inside and out - for all ages and types of stay. We took full advantage of the sunny deck area leading from the bedrooms. The boys couldn't believe their luck with the games console and TV's in their rooms. Sutton-on-sea was lovely with a huge, long spacious beach and great cafes for a bite to eat. The only issue was deciding when we'll be back to Chapel Cottage !

I've just returned from a lovely week long holiday at Chapel Cottage and wish it could've been longer. The cottage itself was spotless. It is lovely and modern but a very comfortable place which is extremely well appointed and decorated tastefully and to a very high standard, with thoughtful decorative touches throughout. The outside space is equally impressive. There's a play area for children and a fantastic summer house and decked areas which were great for relaxing outside with a drink in the evening. The owners go above and beyond to ensure you have a comfortable and happy stay, providing us with an unexpected - but very welcome - basket of things we might need for our visit upon our arrival. They also encourage you to make use of the plethora of beach and sporting goods that are left in the garage for your use. The property is in a superb location and there is so much to do in the area. Just a few minutes walk from the front door is the beach at Sandilands and the promenade which we loved, enjoying walks and safe bike rides for our two girls. I can't recommend this property highly enough and look forward to visiting again soon.
