Hi-fi shop as it's meant to be. Massive range to suit ALL budgets. No sales pressure. All about the listening experience with excellent advice.

Very helpful, some very expensive equipment as well as some more reasonable bits, lovely showroom with lots of demonstration space and parking always available. Prices not always competitive so shop around before committing, but do be aware that the advice is good, and its got to be worth the extra, sometimes they can save you a lot of money! My lp12 has been serviced and repaired by Stone and they set it up very nicely, they also organised to service a Naim nap250 for me and this went well but was very slow, I think Naim are not the quickest in the business. Don't seem to be very good at responding to emails

At the start of the year, after a while researching online, we were ready to buy our first turntable and a respective set up to get the most out of the vinyl experience. Having gone to a number of shops, we came across Stone Audio, who invited us in and had a really thorough discussion of the options available to us. We didn't have a huge budget at all, as it was our first turntable set up, and I believe it was Alex who navigated us through turntables beyond what was in the showroom to accommodate this. Given we are new to the market, the advice was genuine, not patronising at all and really helpful. We ultimately came away with a fantastic turntable, but with also some advice that we will value moving forwards. A great experience and would happily return when we are due a turntable upgrade!
