The Lynhurst

Parking is available in public carpark and owners can sort 4/7 day permits. Walk up to the house from the carpark is not steep but there are several steps. House is well fitted out. It has a large kitchen and dining room perfect for 20 people. A couple of the rooms do not have toilets in the ensuites so have to share a communal toilet on the 2nd foor (it does have a panoramic view though)

I organised an end of January weekend break for 21 adults. I couldn't have chosen a better venue. The house is a beautiful victorian escape and was very spacous even with that many of us. The large kitchen with two ovens and an Aga allowed us to cook a full roast for that number, while the dining room accomodated all of us easily. The two large living rooms allowed us to spread out for playing board games and socialising, whilst the baby grand piano was a hit with several of the group. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Additionally I would add the 2nd floor WC wins the award for the most specacular loo with a view I've ever used! The owners were lovely and very responsive. I contacted them directly through the Lynhurst website, and it was incredibly easy to get booked in and their communciation was always prompt and very helpful. I can highly recommend the Lynhurst.
