Doone Lorna

We came here at the weekend to sample the homemade fudge, we chose Raspberry Ripple, Lotus Biscoff, Cherry and Marmite (absolute winner). The lady who served us was friendly and gave us her time, what more can you ask for than a great product and service from an independent Lorna Doone's Archie Jack's Homemade Fudge is awesome!

This had the best fudge we found in Lynmouth or Lynton. Alongside traditional (and still my favourite) Tablet, there was Marmite fudge (surprisingly tasty), Peanut Butter Fudge (Miss 15's favourite), and an extremely wide range of others. It also showed the mud level from the 1950s flood, which brought the reality of that disaster home, in stark contrast to the sweets available.

Me and my American cousin came here in August last year and were very impressed. Not only were SOME of the staff very helpful, but in particular a worker called Ben stood out. Well he would've done if he was tall enough to reach the lemon bonbons. We cannot wait to come back here for my 18th birthday if you are stil working there. The fudge was very good too I guess.

Was here last year with my cousin. It was really nice. Super helpful really cute boy working there called Ben. Although we went back and he apperently is not there on Saturday. Had to buy something just because. Want to go back! Oh guess the fudge was alright too.
