Bay Valley of Rocks Hotel

the staff(senior staff particularly) wasnt polite. at the time of check out we were told about a stain on the carpet which was there well before we checked in and we had to go walk with the manager all the way back to the room to prove it to her. I have lived in more than a few hotels but never did I experience such a thing and frankly speaking, it was a bit insulting. It started out as a good experience but ended up a disappointment.

The hotel had an odd vibe. My room was cold. The heating wouldn't work and i could never get any hot water the next morning. Otherwise, it was a basic, old hotel. It did have some unique art work and it was convenient to all the tourist stuff. I didn't get the breakfast with my room i guess, so i wasn't able to taste the food. Fine for a quick ovenight but i wouldn't stay here for an extended vacation.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel which was in a brilliant location. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel has been recently painted inside and the views over the Sea are stunning. Breakfast was okay, buffet style, and our room was large with a lovely view. We did find some marks on one of the pillowcases so had to get that changed but otherwise it was very clean. The hotel offered great value shortly after Easter and we really enjoyed our stay.
