We arrived on Friday afternoon as we had driven up from Cornwall after a week down there, we were having three days in Exmoor. Unfortunately I had a accident in Cornwall and ended up with a fractured ankle so it wasn't really ideal . On arrival we were told where the room was and found it was a bit cramped as there was 3 of us in the room and there was no visitors lounge so my husband and daughter went for a walk and i stayed in the room it was cold so I ended up in bed At breakfast next morning we decided to go home early as I had a uncomfortable night due to the pain on my ankle. I informed Chris who told me that I had to pay extra 49.00 after paying 123.50 deposit. In other words 57.00 each for a family room. I would not normally write a bad review, but on this occasion I feel it deserves it. Tbh we didn't feel welcome and when we left it felt like they couldn't wait to see the back of us. We won't be back.

Excellent hidden little gem right on the edge of Lyndon in Devon, this was the best late late booking which resulted in the most amazing short stay, at a spotlessly clean spacious guest house, the eye for detail from welcome to goodbye. Breakfast, room and owners is a hard to beat experience, great location for visiting Exmoor and anywhere in North Devon. Very close to restaurants, small shops etc. Go here nothing will disappoint you.
