Steve & Lorna are brilliant hosts. They could not have been more accommodating for us. We stayed as a party of 6 as a family holiday and had the most welcoming stay. The location is stunning & the sound of the river is almost magical. The rooms are set out with enough space for two persons with luggage and the showering facilities are great too! Shower pressure is also fab! Breakfast each morning was delicious and we were asked about our preferences each evening. Our biggest thank you to the brilliant hosts. The only small change I would add is that it would be nice if dogs were allowed with a deposit paid, or we would have even paid extra but we understand. This doesnt alter the star rating though! There are multiple walks that are easily accessible from this location and the hosts are more than happy to recommend walks.

Lorna and Steve are excellent hosts, they couldn't be more friendly or helpful. The breakfasts cannot be faulted and the rooms were extremely clean and tidy. Our room was on the top floor and being a Victorian building the stairs were quite steep, however, this would only be an issue if you had mobility problems. Lovely open terrace area with views of the Watersmeet river - all in all perfect for our recent three night stay in this lovely area, we wouldn't hesitate staying at East Lyn House again should we return to the area.
