Brilliant place to walk around and have a picnic. There are plenty of dog friendly walks and great beaches around the lakes.

Privacy was fantastic today as I had a photoshoot. So many great opportunities in one place.

A gem in Thetford Forest. Nice walks through the trees. A lake, with sandy beaches. Have been twice now, the carpark was near to full, but by the lake, you would hardly know anybody was around. I'm not sure if you are officially permitted to take boats on the lake (none of the signs say you can't) so both times we've taken inflatable kayaks. Be aware, there are now life-saving rings that I've seen and the lake gets VERY deep, very quickly. There are also no toilets (but plenty of trees and bushes)
