Berties New Milton

Just had a delivery whilst on holiday at Hoburne Naish Holiday Park. The Fish & Chips were the best that we've tasted anywhere. The batter on the fish, even after being delivered was still light & crispy. Not greasy at all. Chips were also lovely. We have previously used a Fish and Chip shop in Christchurch on previous occasions when on holiday here, but the offering there, is no where near as good as tonight, from Berties. Highly recommended.

Top notch. Just back down South for a few days from Ipswich. Ive always maintained that the best fish n chips in the Country can be found south of Watford and Berties didnt let me down. Succulent, tasty large cod in beautiful crispy, golden brown batter with large perfectly cooked chips. You can rest assured that the oil is changed regularly in this establishment. Side order of mushy peas with just the right constituency. A little pricier than what I usually pay up north, but well worth the extra expense. I like to think of myself as a connoisseur of the old fish supper and, in all seriousness, what I was served at Berties was right up there. Premises spotless. Nice, friendly, polite staff. Bit of a wait. Shop was very busy. Usually a good sign of quality in my experience. Well done Bertie. (whoever you may be) Well worth a visit. You WONT be disappointed.
