We wanted to book lunch for six adults, two with limited mobility and a dog. This needed to be at a point central to us all, so when we saw The Swan listed, we thought it looked just the place for us and we werent disappointed. From our initial telephone contact, to the very end of our visit, the staff couldnt have been nicer or more helpful. Callum and Millie went out of their way to make sure that everything was just right for us and that we were made to feel very welcome and very well looked after. The pub itself looks lovely outside, has good access for all levels of mobility and inside it is even more appealing and has a great atmosphere. We were very tickled to find that our reserved table had been set with a dog bed put next to it which our dog was delighted to use. In spite of being so dog friendly, the place was immaculately clean, unsurprisingly holding a 5* hygiene rating. The food was all delicious and the vegan pie deserves special mention as it was so very good. We would absolutely definitely recommend and will return when next in the area.

Lovely pub, but a pity about the food, for what they charge and the size of the portion, disgusting, both me and girls missus had bad stomachs after eating there, better off going to McDonald's,
