Stained Glass Work

We cannot recommend Shelagh Davies' work highly enough. From showing us her portfolio and glass samples ,to helping us with design ideas for a new feature window, then collaborating with us on the style and personal details we wanted ... she could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable and patient with us ! All commuications were prompt and efficient too with a realistic quote and time frame given . We are so delighted with our finished window , it is stunning and just what we wanted . Shelagh has done an amazing job over the years repairing panels in our late Victorian Arts & Crafts stained glass screens. Her ability to reproduce hand-painted flowers and birds - as well as the textured coloured sections - is exceptional as they they blend in perfectly with (what we assume to be) the originals. Shelagh was an absolute delight to work with. Having recently moved into an 1880's cottage and uncovering a small, hidden window, I asked Shelagh for a stained glass window to add a little character to it. She helped me create an idea I had in my head and I'm so happy with the final piece. Would not hesitate to use Shelagh's services again.

Shelagh has lovingly and expertly restored the window in our entrance door and managed to match it exactly to its pair. The window was in very poor shape and fell apart when it was unpacked. She found matching glass for broken pieces and took the time to drive up and re-template it to ensure a perfect fit. It took a while as she focusses on each job in turn but boy was it worth it to get on her schedule. Its absolutely beautiful!
