Barchester - Brookfield Care Home

My sister and I would just like to say thank you to all the staff for being so caring, friendly and helpful to our uncle who recently stayed with you for respite care with a view to long term care. Unfortunately our Uncle became very poorly and passed away but you made his last few weeks of life very comfortable. We cant stress how wonderful you were with him and how you put our minds at ease knowing he was being so well looked after. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I wrote a review two years ago regarding my mother in laws care in Brookfield and my opinion of the staff and care they provide has not changed in fact my admiration for them has grown. All the staff are friendly, caring, attentive and approachable and always willing to discuss any queries with you, nothing seems too much trouble for them. The general manager is always ensuring things are as they should be so the high standards of the home are maintained. The deputy manager is very knowledgeable regarding each individuals personality and requirements. The activities coordinator has a happy disposition and engages residents in a wide range of stimulating activities. The residents who are able are taken out to various venues, such as local events and garden centre. The meal menu choices are varied and enticing. To sum up, the atmosphere is friendly and homely where all members of staff enjoy going the extra mile.
