For several years (and particularly this year) I have been dealing with headaches and dizziness (along with anxiety driving and other things). I though there was something wrong with my eyes but went to several highstreet opticians and was told my sight was fine. This October I went to Hassan Hicks for a full check up and it turns out I am shortsighted! I received my glasses today and everything is so much clearer. I am so happy to finally have my issues listened to and to have a solution. Lora was really helpful and gave a very thorough explanation of everything. Also using the OTC machine she could see some small symptoms of my high blood sugar, which helped confirm some general health issues for me. Overall Im really pleased!

Mr Hassan Hicks is excellent The whole team are lovely and it is a very pleasant experience to go there. Thanks to Mr Hassan Hicks a serious problem with my eye was spotted and dealt with. He was very reassuring and positive, as well as explaining it in a way I could understand. The best opticians around.

I'm delighted to be able to write this review, for years Ive had an eye condition called keratoconus. It caused massive discomfort and Ive seen various "specialists" over the years but never felt entirely happy with my vision. For the last 5 years Ive suffered from severe migraines, they were so bad I couldn't describe the pain. I saw my GP who was very unhelpful saying "there's nothing we can do for migraines". I had a feeling the migraines were related to my sight and was told to give Hassan Hicks a try. I booked an appointment and was immediately made to feel welcome, I knew I was in good hands as Lora started the consultation, she sat me down and really got an understanding of my issue before starting any tests, it was a long appointment which never felt rushed, Lora was genuinely excited to try and help me and took the time to explain why I was having each symptom. She's extremely knowledgeable and a real perfectionist. She explained my condition had changed quite dramatically for the better since my last test at a high street optician hence my prescription was probably the cause of my migraines. I was given my new prescription and the other helpful staff helped me with the lenses, we decided to use my existing frames with no pressure to buy new ones. 1 year on and Im very relieved to report Ive not had a single migraine since wearing my new glasses. It really has changed my life, I used to live in fear of getting another migraine, Im so grateful to have found a professional that really cares. Thank you so much! Andy Yeates
