Because of this I have experienced treatments that I would not have thought about before, I usually went for a fully body massage, but Katie introduced reflexology and that was a game changer, I never expected that to have such profound effects. The effects are more than just physical, they extend to a deeper level, I feel calmer, as well as relaxed.
Recently, I have been suffering from respiratory problems, I have been on two courses of steroids and then antibiotics for a very bad chest. Katie introduced me to the Red Light Therapy.
After a full treatment with acupuncture which really calmed down my breathing and anxiety and massage. I went under the warming Red Light Therapy lamps for 20 minutes (face up) and it felt amazing.
Katie recommended this course as they use it on Covid wards and it has anti-inflammatory effects within the body (amongst a long list of other scientifically proven benefits not to mention hormonal too - which is another issue with me!).
I booked a course of 12 straight away and Katie suggested I use it as much as possible initially to benefit from an intense course at first due to the fact that I have been unwell for about 3 weeks now with my chest. I have been for about 4 days in a row for 20 minutes each, mixing with the front and back of my body and I even had a long session with 20 minutes either side.
I feel a completely different person. My mental health is better as I feel stronger and my chest feels less tight. My body feels more relaxed therefore I feel calmer.
I'm not usually one for writing reviews (I just give a star rating), but after a few months of being unwell with one thing or another, and the medication taking it out of me. The Japanese Anma and the Red Light Therapy has been incredible.
Don't get me wrong, having a massage on its own is simply gorgeous but combined with the above the benefits are so much deeper.
