Lyme Regis Cottages

We visited Lyme Regis Cottages as a family get together before Christmas. Greeted by the Landlady who was lovely and went through everything. This is a beautiful well furnished cottage to sleep 8 comfortably. With a modern interior.There is a large open dining room and kitchen with a cosy sitting room and fire. Perfect for a cosy winter break. The cottage is perfectly situated a short walk from the beach. There are plenty of utensils in the kitchen and it was nice to all sit round the big table together. There was even a Christmas tree which was lovely. I would definitely recommend this cottage if you are looking for a get together by the sea!!

It's ok, quite well equipped and everything seems to work ok. The cottage is located right next to the main road into Lyme Regis and the traffic noise (including buses and lorries) is pretty intrusive, even with the windows shut, good luck when it gets properly hot. I would recommend earplugs at night if you don't want to be woken early. Bedroom curtains in front bedroom are very thin and do little to keep the light out. The car parking is awkward as the entrance to the garage does not leave much room to turn, even our Focus was difficult to get round and in.
