A real home from home experience. We have stayed at Dorset House quite a few times now, usually to coincide with the switching on of the Christmas Lights in Lymes high street. The holidaymaker hordes have long since left, and Lyme returns to its less frantic normal state. Of course its much cooler then, sometimes rather cold. Thats when the warm welcome from Lyn and Jason at Dorset House reminds us why we keep returning. Its more like staying with friends or family than simply a B&B. The breakfasts are simply amazing, whether you are a Veggie or Carnie and no one leaves feeling remotely hungry! Rooms are delightful. Well equipped, tastefully decorated, and some boast probably the best views of Lyme Regis. Thanks again to Lyn and Jason for making our latest stay thoroughly enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing you again same time next year, and maybe a bit sooner.

It's hard to do anything other than give 5 stars for Dorset House. Lyn and Jason are extremely attentive, relaxed and welcoming. They have plenty of information and advice regarding local eateries, walks etc as well as an honesty bar with a selection of wines, gins etc. Our breakfasts were deliciously tasty and included home made Granola, superb full Dorset, plenty of other options including vegetarian, as well as sour dough toast and locally made jam and marmalade, and a breakfast amuse bouche which was different each day. Our spacious, spotlessly clean room had a sizeable shower room and beautiful views over Lyme Bay. The house itself is beautifully decorated and sits a short (hilly) walk away from the town and the Cobb. I could go on, but in short Dorset House is wonderful!
