We had a most enjoyable afternoon in Lyme Regis this week. Spent a not unreasonable amount on accessories for our home like plant pots, cushions and prints as well as lunch etc. Therefore seeing the great window display we popped in to your store. Unfortunately the moment we had sanitized our hands we were asked to leave because apparently there were too many people in the shop(actually there were four not including us). The lady who chased us out said in a loud voice they were limiting the numbers so that everyone stayed safe. What does "safe" even look like ( hint there is no such thing as safe). Life has risks especially crossing the busy road outside the shop and the high kerbs much much higher chance of injury and death from these activities than entering your shop and potentially catching covid. I suggest that if you wish to remain in business you actually let potential customers into your shop, perhaps a bit of staff retraining as I can see from your reviews mine isn't the first negative experience. Every other shop we went into were in contrast most welcoming .

Covid shamed infront of other customers told even though it is not necessary anymore! I was making everyone else feel uncomfortable in the store but could stay if I was making a purchase I left swiftly and was very disappointed as my family and I are regulars and have made many a purchase over the years but will never set your instore again and would urge others to shop elsewhere

What an absolute treat! Beautiful shop, filled with wonderful treats and unique gifts. Lovely aroma, and such a warm, friendly welcome from the sales assistant. Nothing was too much trouble as I searched for just the right gift for a friend. Oh, and the hand sanitiser is divine! Would highly recommend this place.
