Deli-Weli Food Store & Hog Roast

We were the only people in the shop and waited ages to get served. There were 4 people 'serving', one was frying bacon and apologised, nobody else asked if they could help so we left. We tried again for a second time on the same day, but this time there was a long queue. Waited ages, the person 2 in front was buying the whole shop - again, 3 others 'serving' but only 1 actually doing anything so we left. A real shame as the giant eccles cakes looked amazing!

We popped in on Friday on the way back to the car and picked up some cannolis. We had them to take away and they were delicious. I was blown away by the excellent service from a lovely lad serving, so much so that I went back in to the shop and gave a tip! He was very young and I expect helping out in the holiday, he was so polite, helpful and professional. We visited other places in Lyme that day and had atrocious service, as I said to him, a lot of others could learn a lot from him. Yummy cannolis and excellent service, well done little man!
