I've dined here quite a few times now. Food and service nothing short of excellent. The food is always freshly prepared using spices from the owners home town. I love how the sharing starters come out in a bowl of leaves with a variety of dipping sauces. All very authentic!

The food was okay here and good value, but I think better suited as a take-away, as the service was lacking. The restaurant is looking for new staff, so I can only assume the staff that were serving were trainees or brand new, as they didnt know what food they were serving (I wanted to know if the spring rolls on the sharing platter were vegetable spring rolls or meat ones). Service was very slow overall, and we were left waiting about 45 minutes between starters and mains (though the manager came and apologised for this). The restaurant was very loud with people talking over each other, without any background music to match their speaking volume with. Also the two set menus were near identical - Menu A is basically a spicier version of Menu B, both costing 22.95 per person. It would have been preferable to have a couple of different set menus to properly choose between, and one more expensive than the other in order to try a range of foods. Based on the set menus currently offered, I would definitely order a la carte instead. The sharing platter for starter was ok, but the prawn toast was severely overdone and just an oily crisp coated in sesame seeds, and the rest of the food was very oily (including the Thai green curry). It fixed our craving for Thai food, but it wasnt fresh or flavoursome like actual Thai food. The restaurant doesnt serve any drinks at all (with the exception of jugs of tap water), so you will need to run down to the Fox Inn below, to get drinks to enjoy in the restaurant. White wine by the glass was either a Pinot Grigio or a Sauvignon Blanc. The restaurant is not wheel-chair friendly, as it is situated above the Fox Inn up narrow stairs, but there is parking.
