Have eaten here often in the past. Unfortunately today was not good and you can understand why there was only a couple of people in when it should be busy. The food just tasted of salt. Not once did the 2 young staff ask if everything was ok. We have since spoken to friends in the area and they have all said the same as us. Such a shame.

The food is excellent here, which is always a surprise because the menu is so varied you might think they cant possibly do it all but everything that comes out the kitchen is actually pretty incredible. There genuinely seems to be something for everyone on the all-day menu, from breakfast (available before noon), savoury waffles and small plates, to pizzas, burgers, bao-buns and even ramen. My favourite is the MSK Buddha bowl (9.50) with halloumi as an extra. It is so delicious and full of really interesting flavours - roasted cauliflower, curried onion, a panko-crumb sweet potato cakes, on tabbouleh. We also love the bao buns (7.50 for 2), and MSK Fried Chicken (6.50) with sriracha mayo. The loaded fries are all good too. All great for sharing and very good value. Drink wise, they have a long list of cocktails, and also offer beers and wines, smoothies, milkshakes and a Ninga ginger juice. The service however is pretty chaotic and each time we go it seems to be a different process for ordering and paying. The staff seem very young and hang round the bar chatting, and it can be very difficult at times to get another drink. They dont come and clear empty glasses/plates or try to upsell you a drink when youre running low.

What a shame! Fathers Day brunch with 8 people and not one thing has gone smooth this morning - drinks delayed, food delayed, orders missed or partially completean absolute shambles. Appreciate that restaurants can be busy during holidays but this level of service was/is simply not acceptable. No one seemed to really care and take ownership of the tables and were just firefighting. Tables all around us were experiencing problems - no cutlery, drinks not being delivered and only partial orders being brought out. Being told no cups were clean or available, shortly after ordering, for our hot drinks I feel sums up the organisational and prep for the whole restaurant. No managers were visible or on hand to speak to and we genuinely felt sorry for the waiting team who were taking the flack for a complete lack of management and structure. After being there for over an hour and a half, some drinks just never turned up, despite chasing multiple times. An absolute shame as the food is actually really quite nice. Management, this is on you to sort out.
