Stopped here while visiting the area and saw their various signs from the road. Actually popped in for bread and goat meat to allow us to make a Caribbean Curry. The bakery is at one end of the store with groceries in the middle (main) section and a butchers at end. Having only ever had Indian Naan we thought it would be good for us to try an Afghani version. Bought three as it was to serve three people at 80p each. Firstly they're flatter than an Indian Naan more of a flat bread. Secondly they are easily three times the size of a standard Naan. They were so large that we used them for three separate meals. Absolutely brilliant value and were freshly prepared and cooked for us. In fact when they were cooked the baker actually apologised to us for having to wait. Not a problem at all as we had expected a slight wait to be able to get fresh bread, plus the smell of it baking was lovely. Really courteous guy. We also went to the butcher's section and again received great service with the butcher cutting up the Goat Leg for our Curried Goat. When I went to pay I was still shocked at the low price for the Afghani Naan and even the Goat was great value. Again received great service at the till. Will definitely be shopping here again.
