Met with resistance when collecting a prescription for medication Im on long term due to a chronic condition and medical issue and in constant care of MK hospital (breast reconstruction due to lump, chronic stomach condition)Had further surgery last week, and my doctors surgery prescribed me my usual medication. I mentioned to my doctor I was met with resistance last time and my doctor said tell the pharmacist to ring them should I have issues again. I let the pharmacist know this when collecting my medication and she started shouting at me in front of people, shouting exactly what medication Im on (controlled drug), and literally shaking with anger at me. I have just had surgery and in extreme pain so was in no mood for a fight. Extremely concerned my personal medical records/ medication were shouted about in front of shocked members of the public. I am a senior manager in a government department and medically just gone through the worst year of my life and had two consecutive surgeries and endless treatment / biopsies. Did not expect this kind of treatment and conduct and to be made a spectacle of. Advised any concerns should be raised with my doctors , not me. Reported Indian female pharmacist in question for gross misconduct. Disgusting behaviour.

What a find! I'd recently had issues with the previous pharmacies where my prescriptions were sent, so I thought I give Acorn a try out. I'm really glad that I did. What a professional, helpful set up (completely different to my previous experiences). Positive too. Nice to know that service like this still exists in this modern world.

Excellent service, friendly staff who will always do that bit extra to sort out any problems you may have. Open every day except, Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
