Tapi Carpets & Floors

Freshly decorated my hall way only for Tapi to completely ruin the walls meaning I had to fill and repaint again.. I complained but was ignored before going to head office and getting a sorry phone call and being told sometimes that happens. I challenged it and got 50 back which doesnt even cover the cost of dust sheets and new paint. I have a whole house to carpet, wont be using them again

I would not use Tapi again. I had wanted to continue laminated flooring, which had installed by Tapi previously, into another area of the house. Not only was the quote far in excess of the price I paid previously but there were no breakdown of costs at all, not even any measurements. The labour cost quoted was three times higher than before but did show any breakdown of costs or explanation of the large increase. The customer service was poor. I pointed out the lack of tranparency but never received any response. I wish I had not used them in the first place.

Completely unprofessional service. Firstly I had to wait around a week and a half to get an appointment (which I understand isn't a huge issue) I was booked in for a Saturday. Asked the team to give me a message 15 minutes before the Floorist arrived - received a message at 10.25am saying someone will be there shortly. Half an hour went by and no-one arrived. I called the store to chase up who told me he should be there in 10 minute. About 20 minutes went by. The floorist arrived (bearing in mind I've never met this person) right away his attitude dictated the the tone of the appointment. His FIRST words were 'why you calling the shop!' - i told him I received a message about an hour ago telling me he'll arrive shortly - his response once 'well I was on another job. . .' Next was, well what do you want? I told him I need measurements and Tapi told me you'd have samples? He said, I don't measure? I was half tempted to terminate the appointment then and there but im nice so I continued. He showed me a few samples measured up and provided nothing to no advice. It was more of, pick what you want. He told me he would get a quote for me on that day, he didn't, I sms'd no response. Sunday, nothing. It's now Tuesday and still nothing. I sincerely suggest Tapi spend some time putting their employees through some customer service training because as a professional myself, in sales, this is not how you do business. For obvious reasons I went somewhere else, the salesman was knowledgable, experienced and polite. I'm not going to name the floorist but for obvious reasons but if you you have the same experience as me, you'll know who he is. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE BENCHMARK OF ANY BUSINESS!
