APT Care

Very neglectful. Leave filthy flannels and tissues and towels everywhere. I would never recommend this care group. As an ex carer for 32 years they are a disgrace. My in-laws are in a mess.

For almost 6 months care was provided by APT for my elderly mother in Nottingham following a fall resulting in a broken hip. Mum had carers 4 times a day, in a morning, at lunchtime, at teatime and a final visit to put her to bed. During the course of these visits all meals were prepared, drugs administered, she was washed thoroughly and clothes changed on a very regular basis. Not one of these appointments was missed and if there was a likliehood of one being a little late I was always informed by telephone though this was the exception rather than the rule. It was so noticeable that each and every carer on each and every visit treated mum with so much care and compassion and always had time for what mum called " a little chat". This continued all the way through her care even as she became more and more poorly and less mobile the level of care never wavered and I was always contacted by Anne Marie and her team if they thought there was something we needed to know or do right down to simple things like shopping lists and prescription requirements. There can be no doubt that without these very special people mum would never have been able to stay at home and die in her own bed which was her dearest wish and words cannot do justice to the way I feel about not just what they did for Mum but the way they they did it. To Ann Marie and your team I say for the final time thank you

APT was a great support to my dad he came out of hospital and APT took the care package on. Even though my dad was abnixous old man and would only let them give tablets.They supported my mum aswell. Which helped me to relax a bit. That someone was looking out for my mum aswell thank you. Keep up the good work x
