I joined about 7 years ago, after training at another dojo. Having experience of karate for a considerable time period I was impressed by the friendliness of the instructors, and also their willingness to train alongside their students (it is not everywhere a 5th Dan will do basics with everybody else). Be prepared to work hard to obtain your grades, as unlike other instructors they will not give grades out just on good attendance. If you are looking for traditional karate then you will not find better instructors in Luton - eugene smith (35 years experience - ex-international competitor)
