Aspire lounge is closed, something it didn't mention on it's website when I checked last night. So for an extra 10 per head, 25 if you don't have a membership, we came here. Lovely looking lounge, comfortable and well furnished. Table service is a source of anxiety when on a schedule, especially as was over 20 minutes before they took our order. However food came promptly and was nice if small portions, no eat as much as you like as in the Aspire lounge.

Sign still says closed due to staffing issues as a result of Covid. The airport activity has picked up again, you need to be opening this up or letting another lounge come in. There is more than enough people wishing to use the lounge.

We used Clubrooms at Luton shortly after it opened last September and to to be honest I don't know if I would use them again. There were storms in Europe so many flights were delayed. We had a reservation and joined a huge queue to get in. The majority of people hadn't booked so we had to wait behind 20 or so people who were told they were fully booked, followed by said people asking in disbelief "you're fully booked?", followed by the poor woman on the door having to explain how they could possibly be full. It would have made more sense to have two separate queues, one for booking and one for walk ins. The queuing ate into our time considerably. Once in we were seated in one of the separate rooms; it had 3 seating ares but only one charging point for the whole room. All three seating ares were occupied so we took it in turns to use the socket! It took a long time to be served and then a long time for them to reheat the food which is already pre-cooked. What arrived was tepid and disappointingly small. We asked for two additional sides of potato wedges, only one arrived and they were soggy and only just warm. We were asked if we wanted another drink; we ordered a white wine and gin and tonic and they never arrived. The lounge itself was clean and tidy which you would expect for being brand new and the toilets were easily accessible. No self service drinks like in other Clubrooms so overall very disappointing. The worst part is this is the most expensive of all the Clubrooms we have used and by far the worst in terms of facilities and standard.
