Illegally make use half of tenant's deposit for their own maintenance and redecoration. Make sure you did inventory check carefully and sue them to court if needed. Disgusting!

Merely Avoid. Opto village and Urban evolution are an absolute scam. Rude management staff, incompetent at carrying out basic tasks their job requires. Do not trust the fake positive reviews left by Opto employees, I myself recognise. They will try, without a doubt, to claim your deposit by using fabricated photos, false accusations and invalid reports. I left my room undamaged in a cleaner and more sanatised condition than I found it and yet they tried to claim 221.42 of my deposit, which I thankfully got back along with the rest of my deposit through the DPS adjudicators, as I had enough evidence against them. The overcharging for absolutely anything is inevitable and the communication between tenants and agents is non existent. When requesting to speak to the agents, Opto employees merely forward emails to representatives in Liverpool who have the authority to make all the important decisions and reply with unsigned emails without viewing the property or speaking to you in person. Their methods are highly questionable and probably illegal. I urge you to avoid this unjust and dishonest company, which only aims to unfairly benefit from unsuspected, honest and financially struggling young individuals.
