Shires

At one of the worst times of our lives Lu and Ray helped us every step of the way. Before our loved one passed we had made enquiries from Shires and been supplied a leaflet informing us everything that we needed to know. That gave us the opportunity to ask our loved one what they wanted for themselves. On the day of the funeral - despite what we know to be a busy time for Shires were truly amazing. Ray made sure all key members of the family knew what to do and where to go and he kept a discreet presence during the whole time. At no stage did we feel rushed or anything. I genuinely can't thank Ray and Lu enough and would 1000% recommend their services.

Lu and Kar-Ming looked after us very well and also worked seamlessly with Veronika in the Luton branch. The team supported us very thoughtfully through the funerals of both our parents, two years apart. Were very grateful for the work they did to make what is a very difficult process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

At the most difficult time in my families life Shires not only helped but supported our family, their staff are friendly kind and a shoulder to cry on but sympathetic to all our needs. They never once made us feel as though we were just another number. I can never repay them for making my husband's final journey so special and for this one reason I say they are the World's Best provider for the service they offer

We chose the Dunstable Branch of Shires for my wife's funeral, and I was so grateful for this decision! From our initial meeting right through to the collection of my wife's ashes, Shires service was exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble and every stage was carefully explained to us. The staff were all faultless, but a special mention should go to Lu, she was our main point of contact and made us feel so comforted throughout. This lady showed true empathy in our darkest hour, I will never forget her kindness of soul.
