Great place to take your puppy/dog to learn good manners, have fun, meet other dog owners . Classes helped me realise that a well trained dog is a pleasure and that you as the owner have to put in the work. My dog is amazing because we took the time, spent the money and kept up with all the things we learnt at classes. We have just returned after a beak from classes, not because anything our dog has done but because we had gotten lazy and needed some refreshing. We have so much advice and support from Keegans Knines over these 3 years. I would recommend that all new and even owners with older dogs that have "issues" need to do training with this lovely lady. Having researched many dog trainers for our Miniature Dachshund we eventually chose Keegans Knines. I was really nervous when we first went to puppy training as Dexter is our first ever dog and I had no idea what I was doing. From the moment we walked in Julie was professional, polite, kind, knowledgeable and just a pleasure to learn from. Keegans Knines works at your pace. We had to miss a week due to illness and we couldnt make that lesson up, but that is what I agreed to in the t&Cs before starting with Julie. This was fine and we were both excited to get back to training after the week we missed. We are now 7 months into training and Dexter loves it. We have moved up to the next class and Dexter and I are working hard. We have recently passed out bronze and are now working towards our Silver. Julie is really honest. If we dont put the work in, the training she gives us wont stick as we arent doing our homework. Dexter being a Dachshund can be very stubborn. The way Julie teaches with Keegans Knines is with kindness and understanding. If we dont get what shes just asked us to do she will explain again and show us - and she will do this until we all understand what shes saying. Keegans Knines is fab. They love each and every dog that comes through the class and they are so happy for you when you pass an award. I dont know where wed be without Julie and Keegans Knines
