Dropped off a parcel 8DAYS ago and its still sitting at West Street Pharmacy, Dunstable. I went to find out what was happening and an assistant told me that the driver could not scan the label properly. There are numbers above the barcode for the driver to input in this eventuality, however it seemed that this was too much trouble for the driver and my parcels have simply been left there without my knowledge for 8 Days! DPD didnt update the tracking app with this information the information about my parcels simply dropped off the system The assistant spent her time, quite justifiably, berating DPD for their poor service, however when I agreed with her and criticised them as well she stormed off, raising her voice and saying I dont work for DPD!!!! No you dontbut the company you work for are paid by DPD to provide a service and its not good enough..dont make the customer feel at fault when this is due to DPDs driver being too inept and the company having poor communications. No one forced West St Pharmacy to become a collection point, they obviously do it as its a nice little side business to make extra moneyif the parcel delivery industry is too stressful for you West St Pharmacy and if it means your staff take it out on customers then I suggest you cancel your contract with DPD and stick to what youre best at!
