The dentists seem disinterested in the patient. I have always had to prod and ask for explanation on the procedure, symptoms or care, etc. for example, when I was heavily pregnant, I visited the dentist (Salena). She was rude and did not care to ask if I am seated comfortably. Once she was done, she did not communicate that at all and any concerns I had were responded to very dismissively. I struggled to get in and out of the chair as I had pubic symphysis leading to mobility issues. However, her general demeanour was very disengaged and unbothered about the patient. She was more concerned about clocking us out and spoke very rudely as well. I was left feeling anxious, disheartened and unsure. Currently seen by King, she is warmer than Salena but fails to explain what is happening or communicate the details. I feel that my visits are a question session where I have to ask everything. Sometimes I may not know the right questions but they are capable of explaining it, but fail to engage or appreciate that the patient has taken time to visit them and spend money so due care must be offered. We are shimmied in and out of the chair and door. I work for the NHS and in healthcare setting it is important to engage with your patients and explain the symptoms, procedure, outcome etc to them - a skill dentists of this centre hugely lack. For the money I pay here, I am not impressed at all. With unpaid services offered by NHS staff, theres definitely more kindness towards patient experienced there than there is by this centre. I will not recommend it to anyone and shall leave it soon as I find a spot elsewhere.
