Spoke to a doctor today who said it is a bacterial infection and I need antibiotics. He said it is likely that the bacteria has been transferred from unclean tools used in the nail shop.
The shop does not clean their tools between one customer and another and the tools should be sat in a cleaning solution which they are not.
I hope the nail shop start to clean their tools between use and follow hygiene rules properly so this doesnt happen to somebody else.
