Lovely pub, we visited after a long walk with the dogs in the area. You need to book as it is very popular. We luckily had a table next to the fire and the wonderful staff looked after us so well. They had treats for the dogs, a great selection of beers and the food was lovely. All in all a great pub to visit. We will be back for sure.

Used to be our favourite pub, but menu has changed and service was very slow! Food now average which is a huge shame. Waited over an hour for food, with no apologies
