Barchester - Hagley Place Care Home

My father spent 14 months at Hagley Place. He had dementia, and the whole team provided brilliant care: kindness and compassion alongside the many activities. He forgot that he had two left feet and danced; he also painted, joined the choir and won a KitKat on a game of bingo. He was able to walk round the garden and sit in the gazebo with my mother, enjoying the sunshine in the summer months. In the final days of his life the team provided excellent palliative care, and huge support for us, his family. Dementia is not kind, but Marion, Helen, Leo and all the team made sure that he had the most positive experience possible. Would give 6 stars if I could.

My precious mum has been at Hagley Place for over a year now. The staff could not be more accommodating, compassionate and open. It is a delightful, well led setting with residents and their families at the very centre.

Attended establishment on a proffesional matter . Very competent staff who knew individual pts needs and history . Various service users having freedom to use the facilities, a happy , clean and caring environment

Very kind and caring staff. The purpose built building creates a nice environment and has a lovely well cared for garden. I would and do happily recommend it
