Royal Mail

Posted a small parcel 10th August first class, still not been delivered, was told to phone sorting office with ref no, just recorded message saying to go on web site, put ref no in cant be tracked until it has tried to be delivered. So not much help. It was for my daughter's birthday which has gone. What's going on? Other services are managing to deliver, nothing Royal about this service, perhaps a name change to Sloth Mail, for all mail you want delivered next month update on my parcel still not arrived 8th September 2020, oh silly me for not taking photos, & keeping the receipts for the items I posted, cause you should always assume that royal mail aren't going to deliver the parcel you trust them with. My compensation is 6 first class stamps

They delivered a package that had been opened with nothing inside. Didn't even attempt to see if I was at home to tell me there was a problem (I was). They leave parcels worth quite a lot of money on the doorstep instead of taking them back to the sorting office, despite being told twice not to leave them on the doorstep. Today I went to the sorting office to collect a package that was too big for my letterbox. I double checked the opening times on the card before leaving home, only to find when I got there that they are closed on wednesdays, and only open to 10am most days. I tried going online to arrange a redelivery. My God! What a cluster f**k their website is. Wouldn't accept my name or address. Worse than useless.

Does nobody start a 700am any more ? Monday 7am ,Tuesday 8am . Why ? And only till 10am . Just like the High St Banks
